Join me as I explore Colorado on my 2014 Honda Valkyrie. I affectionately call him Casper, because he has ghost flames. The original owner also owned a paint shop in Thornton, Colorado. I’m the third owner of this bike and I love it. It’s 750 pounds of fun. 1832cc pancake six cylinder motor and shaft driven. It’s really a great bike. Perfect for me

Ride of the Valkyrie – New Tires! – S3 E5
CLICK HERE FOR THE YOUTUBE VIDEO
In this episode I ride to Montrose, Colorado to the Davis Service Center to get new tires. I had about 5,800 miles on the original set. When I left my house in the morning it was 33F/.55C. I don’t have heated grips, but I do have heated gloves. My throttle hand did get cold, but I didn’t have to stop.
I had to time my ride just right to be able to get through a major construction site. The crew at the Davis Service Center took good care of me. I would recommend them. I did around 180 miles (290 kilometers) round trip.
Enjoy!
