Very cool episode, Dan. Love that 360 camera.
Is the camera mounted ahead of the windshield on a separate arm? I take it you are controlling the camera with a cell phone? Pretty cool technology
Thanks Mark! Yes, it’s only one camera on a separate mount. The 360 shoots in spherical, which means it takes footage by two different cameras (within the same camera). It seamlessly stiches it all together in one video. One facing forward and one facing backward. The control of camera point-of-view POV is controlled by the editing software (I use Adobe Premiere). I can point it in any direction 360 degrees, up or down, left or right. I took me a couple of months to learn how to adequately use the Premiere controls. I watched several YouTube videos. I was about to give up when I had a break through. Now, I’m completely comfortable using it. This is one of my favorites. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jONrWPVQ7vM It appears to be nothing special until about 1/2 way through, then hang on to your hat. 😎 I had fun with that one!
